Dan Stoner is the Chief Operating Officer at BRAC USA, where he serves as a key leader for the team, and across the BRAC entities. He oversees operations spanning institutional fundraising, finance, and human resources, and serves as the global lead for building strategic funding relationships with the U.S. Government, Global Affairs Canada, and North American foundations.

A seasoned international development professional, Dan brings over 25 years of experience — including 17 years living and working in South America and East Africa. Before joining BRAC USA, he spent eight years at Save the Children as Vice President for Education and Child Protection, and 15 years at Plan International in diverse leadership roles across headquarters, regional offices in Nairobi and Quito, and country programs in Tanzania, Bolivia, and Brazil.

Dan is passionate about driving sustainable change for children and communities worldwide. He and his teams have delivered large-scale education and child protection initiatives, humanitarian response programs, and multi-sector partnerships that address the root causes of poverty.
