BRAC brings the Kumon Method to Bangladesh
In 2014, BRAC partnered with the globally renowned Kumon Institute of Education to introduce the world-famous Kumon Method in Bangladesh. This proven learning approach helps children build strong foundational skills in math and English, while developing confidence and independence.
Today, more than 7,000 learners are enrolled across 29 BRAC Kumon centres nationwide. By allowing students to learn at their own pace, the program nurtures problem-solving, critical thinking, and a lifelong love of learning, helping every child reach their full potential.

In August 2022, BRAC Kumon Ltd and Ekmattra Society jointly came forward to make the Kumon Learning Method accessible to underprivileged children through the Ekmattra-Dutch Bangla Bank Academy. This event marked the formal program launch.
